Life Skill Training on Effective Communication & Negotiation Skills
To upgrade the skills of SHGs and VOs, a training was organised on June 13, 2023 at Gobardhan village. The participants included president, secretary and office bearers of VO. Miss Christina Ronghipi, Social Worker, spoke on the importance of effective communication for a successful leadership. She emphasised that without good communication, an organization cannot thrive in the market. The participants were engaged in group exercises on self-awareness and identity. Through concepts like Johari Window, the resource person explained the strengths and weaknesses of an individual. The participants helped in disclosing the qualities of their fellow members. Overall, the session was a learning experience for the women.
