DISTRIBUTION OF RELIEF MATERIALS TO FAMILIES AFFECT BY ETHNIC VIOLENCE OF MANIPUR
The ethnic violence in Manipur which started on May 3, 2023 after a Tribal Solidarity March has claimed more than 180 lives and displaced around 60000 families. As the violence continues, there is a very less hope for the affected families to return to their home. Sensing the plight of the people, FAsCE India with the support of MANOS UNIDAS distributed Survival Kit, Medicines and Mosquito Net to 1014 families living in relief camps of Mizoram. The local community, church leaders and volunteers extended their support to local centre in distributing the items.
