Children’s Day 2016
FAsCE India completely dedicated the month of November for children by celebrating the children’s day in different centres in and around Guwahati. Since
14th November
is celebrated as the birthday of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru the first prime minister of India, the day is fondly commemorated as Children’s Day all over India. To mark the occasion, FAsCE India organised various programmes for the children in different villages viz, Ekrabari, Bongaon, Hathishila, Amsing Jorabat and Fasce Supplementary centre, Guwahati. Programmes of the children included cultural event, dances, songs, skits and other such variety entertainment which was a scintillating performance from the part of children. Its was an occasion to provide children a platform to discover and unfold their talents and develop their skills in different forms.
