Teachers’ Day at FAsCE Education Centre
The FAsCE Supplementary School Children of Narengi and Bongaon jointly celebrated the Teacher’s Day at SFS Hr. secondary School Auditorium, Narengi, with lot of joy,
happiness and enthusiasm to express their appreciation and gratitude for the altruistic commitment of their teachers. The significance of the day was highlighted as the date was selected to commemorate the birthday of a timeless teacher and the former President of India, Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan. The Special Guest of the day was Rev. Fr. Praveen MSFS, Provincial Secretary, and the Guest of Honours were Fr. Saji George, the Executive Director of FAsCE India, teachers, Ms. Chaya Kalita, Coordinator, Sr. Margaret MPV, Community Mobiliser and Ms. Regina B. Sereng, Chief Programme Coordinator. The dazzling dances, sweet melodies and impressive skits etc. added colour and flavor to the celebration. Students mimicking their teachers made the audience burst into laughter. Fr. Saji George thanked the teachers for their unconditional services, hard work and sacrifices. Miss Hafija Khatun, a student of class 6, anchored the one and half hour programme creatively. The teachers were felicitated with gifts as a token of love and gratitude.
